Margaret " Peg " Hogan , 79 of South Plainfield passed away on Thursday November 5 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hogan was Born and raised in Ireland and Known to many as " Peg " she became a Registered Nurse after her training and worked in Ireland. Many years later she met the love of her life Danny in New York and later became Married moving to South Plainfield in 1970. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center and retired at the age of 65. Peg was a longtime Communicant of The Sacred Heart R. C. Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister as well as being a member of The Altar Rosary Society for several years. In addition she played an active role at the church helping in every way she could. Her true demeanor and generosity will never be forgotten. She was a Loving Wife , Mother, Sister, Aunt , Daughter , Grandmother and Friend who will be sadly missed by all who her fortunate enough to have known her. Peg is Predeceased by her Loving Parents and One Sister Maryann Gibbons. She is Survived by her Beloved Husband of almost 45 years Daniel D. Hogan, South Plainfield , One Son and his Wife Aidan and Katrina Hogan, Piscataway, One Daughter and her husband Maureen and Michael A. Cummings , Metuchen, One Brother Daniel Gibbons, Ireland, Four Sisters Rose Gibbons , Boston, Sadie Callaghan, Ireland, Hilda Taaffe, Ireland and Celine Gibbons , Ireland, in addition to Two Grandchildren Mary Kate and Jack Cummings, Metuchen. Funeral Services will be held at 9am on Monday November 9 at The South Plainfield James W. Conroy Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, PH # 908-756-2800, Followed by 10am Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at The Saced Heart R C Church , South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. Family and Friends are kindly asked to attend the Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday November 8 between the hours of 2PM -4PM and 7PM - 9PM Following the Funeral Mass The Interment will take place in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Clinton Avenue, South Plainfield. The Family kindly requests that Memorial Contributions be made in Mrs. Hogan's name to The Sacred Heart R C Church , St Vincent DePaul Society , 200 Randolph Avenue , South Plainfield , NJ 07080 Please access WWW.SOUTHPLAINFIELDFUNERALHOME.COM to send on line condolences to the family and / or for directions to the funeral home.

Deepest sympathy to Danny, Maureen & Aidan and all the extended family on the loss of Peggy. We have many fond memories of her trips to see us in Ireland.
