Jeanette A. Cowles 83 passed away Thursday November 5, 2009. Born in Nutley to the late Paul and Rose Cordasco, she was raised in Newark, lived in Bloomfield and then Belleville for the past 30 years. Mrs. Cowles was a publishing company proofreader many years ago. Mrs. Cowles is survived by her husband Lester, sister Marie Apostolico, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Lester L. 3rd, brother Dominic, sisters Helen Cox, Carmella Volpe Cuozzo, and Lena Haug. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Research.
